It’s the best souvenir to take home culinary treats we can share with out friends! We had a lot of fun in our cooking class and learned about the wide variety of cultures and cuisines of México. Our class was focused on local Mazatlan specialties, which were well explained and presented with ingredients that we can get back home as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would return for another class anytime, if we were back in town.

¡Experiencia maravillosa!

Gracias a Paola.

Paola is great - a very lovely hostess. We did the tacos/ceviche class. First time trying "tacos dorados" - loved it. It's also not the type of cooking class where you're physically doing the work - unless you want to?? Paola forces you (lol....she doesn't - she's really SO sweet) to mise en place the primary pieces to the meal. So I'm guessing if you're not comfortable handling a knife or cooking stove top per se, then I'm sure you can just sit and watch others maybe get more hands-on. So it's not so much teaching you how to prep/cook, but take in the bigger picture of learning how to prepare different aspects of this cultural food. Even a trick on how to make a dry tortilla soft for folding - YESSS!!! It was nice to learn about Mexico and the area of Mazatlan. It was a very nice brunch. Thank you Paola! Very nice!

We were lucky enough to find Paola when we were looking for an excursion to do in Mazatlan. We love to cook and explore different cuisines when we travel. Once I connected with Paola, she created a specialized experience for us- she picked us up at the cruise port, took us to the market where we shopped for ingredients for our meal, which we then prepared under her instruction in her kitchen. When we fell in love with one of the ingredients, she even took us back to the market so we could buy some to take home. She then gave us a little tour of Mazatlan on her way to drop us back at our ship. A completely first rate experience, certainly 100 times better than anything we could have booked through the cruise line! Please do not hesitate to book with her, you will not regret it!

Had the most incredible time learning about Mexican culture, food and ingredients. Paola does a great job inviting you into her house and teaching the class with a lot of passion. I’ve done two of her classes now and can’t wait to sign up for more next season

This was such a fun experience! It started with a small presentation during which we learned about Mexican culture and food. We then moved onto the cooking. We prepared 4 different kinds of tacos. The food was delicious and unique. The kitchen was a little small for the 8 people that were in the class, but we made do. Paola was so kind and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend.

Paola is a very good teacher and historian. Her passion for food and culture is evident to all. I consider myself a pretty good cook and still learned a lot. I took her Tacos class and will return to learn more in her Chilis class. Even the snack she made for us was inspirational... Jicama & mango salad!

I absolutely loved the cooking class experience with Paola. She told us a lot about the Mexican culture and food traditions. Most importantly we got to learn and taste traditional Mexican food and receive the recipes to do it again at home. Thanks Paola and team.

We did one cooking class and a food tour with Paola! I thought my favourite dish of the trip was from the cooking class, but the taco tour has me second guessing! She knows great food and was so happy to share the traditions and knowledge with us. I am so grateful to have gotten these experiences with her. Highly recommend!!
